New SMB DS W4 & W7?

Does anyone know how to get to worlds 4 and 7 in New Super Mario Bros for the Nintendo DS?!  This is so annoying!  You skip right over them!

Oh, I'm being stupid!  I haven't played this in awhile and forgot. OK, first thing start the game as Luigi by holding down the L and R buttons while you choose a file. Get a mini mushroom (which can be found in 1-4) and beat the World 2 boss with it, when you leave the castle instead of it saying World 3 it will say World 4. Start the boo house in World 4 and go to your right and you will find a door, once through the door you can jump on the question mark making four blocks come down, hit all the blocks and stand on the 2nd one from the left. The blocks will fly up and you'll be in another room. Go right and land on the yellow platform then go up around the giant boo and head to your left you will come across another switch thing.  Go right and head through the door, go left and use another switch. Ignore the boo and jump on the pipe that's at a 90 degree angle. Select your mini mushroom and try to bounce yourself from one wall to the other until you make it to the little platform on the right wall. Jump up and go through the door. It will unlock a cannon go in the cannon like you would a pipe and your off to World 7!

On the world map you can go over to a cannon and press a like you normally would to start a level and it will launch you to a different world.

No I cannot, there is no path to the cannons.  Are you sure you're not confusing this with the Wii version?  I'm playing the DS version.  But either way, why do you go from world 3 to 5?!  That is so crazy, why does it skip 4?  and both 4 and 7 are never colored in on the map so I cannot use the touch screen to get to them either.

Omg that is so stupid!  What do you mean by mini-Mario?  Do you mean Mario in regular form (with no mushroom) or mini-Mario after he has eaten a lil blue mushroom which makes him super tiny?

I like Larryinc's way better, I don;t want to hold L and R -- might as well be putting in a cheat code.  Where can I find a lil blue mushroom in either of those castles?

Oh god, I remember playing through this the 1st time. I do not enjoy jumping through so many hoops just to play the whole damned game.  What a PITA.

Use the Blue Mushroom,
In World 2, the 3rd ? block away from the boss door, on a bit of floating land near a big spike ball.
In World 5 the only way to get one is in a Roulette Block, one of those blocks that cycle through Items and you hit it at the right time to get a item.

Another strategy is to get a Mini Mushroom from a Toad house and keep it in your inventory and use it after you deal some damage to the boss, you only have to kill the boss as Mini Mario, because when you beat the boss and Mario goes chasing after Bowser Jr. he falls into a crack and goes to the alternate world.

You need to defeat the bosses of World 2 and 5 as Mini-Mario.
