wiggy:

The maracas are about 10 bucks a set on eBay, since they're just plastic shells in which to insert the Wiimote and nunchuck.  I plan on grabbing a couple sets ;)

Harp00nX:

Just got some manuals sent over from the States and got quite a sought after snes game that ive been wanting for some time for a reasonable price too :) Any idea where I can get a scan for Pocky & Rocky 2?

wiggy:

Are these things hard to come by or something?  I just picked all this up for 15 bucks today, and I can't seem to find any on eBay and I only see one listed on Amazon.  Am I missing something?

JDavis:

Time for another update from me!

Despite telling my friend repeatedly that he did not need to pay me anything for the Mario & Wario cart label I put together for him, he sent me $45 :o. I was expecting like $15 tops.

There was a game I'd been debating buying for a while, and now that I suddenly had the exact amount I needed for it (before shipping) thrown at me, I took the plunge:

Mr. Gimmick!

It's my first repro cart, and will be my only one for a while, but it's fairly well regarded (spoiler: #1 on satoshimatrix's top 100 NES/Famicom games), so it seemed like a good use of the unexpected money.

Next, I bought 17 more of those $1 clearance DS games, and traded them and the 3 PS2 games in at my local shop that deals in retro games and got...

SMB2 with the box and manual (no foam block, but whatever), City Connection with box and manual (rental stickers on manual and cart, but whatever), a third party N64 Memory Pak (I needed another one of these), and a manual for Ninja Gaiden II (which the shop owner threw in for free, since I'm a regular customer ;D)

Of course, I already had SMB2, so I took my cart in (which wasn't quite in as good of shape as the one I got in that box), as well as a spare Gameboy Tetris I had laying around and got...

Kirby's Dream Course! I used to rent the heck out of this back in the day, but never owned a copy... until now!

Finally, I was watching eBay lots and managed to grab...

A Gamegear lot with:
The system. Speaker doesn't work and screen only sort of works (have to tilt it and even then there's some ugly... columning? Not sure how to describe it), but that's better than the last one I bought. Time to play Frankenstein!
AC Adapter (my batteries are saved!). Also the box.
System manual (stained, unfortunately)
Carrying bag... so.... 90's.
Jeopardy! in the box with the manual, clamshell, even the plastic bag. There's a sticker on the front of the box, but whatever.
Sonic the Hedgehog, with clamshell
Sonic Triple Trouble, with manual and clamshell
Jungle Book
Star Wars

Which was $35 after shipping.

That'll probably be it from me for a while. I'm going to try to limit myself to one game purchase next month: Kirby's Dream Collection.

Umbra:

Well by the time my most recent purchase comes in it'll be September, so I'll just post in August and add pictures hey moment the stuff comes.

Spent about $70 and got an N64, Enhancement Pak, Memory Pak, Ocarina of Time, LEGO Racers, Quake II, and for Xbox I picked up Rainbow Six 3.

I just recently decided to get into game collecting so I think I'm making nice headway so far. Again, pics will come probably in early September if that's fine with everyone.
