And Taito's. Wouldn't you know it, a few of their games end up being quite valuable. I recently watched a pick up video where a kid scored 90 or so boxed SNES games at an estate sale, Hagane and Wild Guns among them. The price paid for each game? $1. --- End quote --- Sigh, "I recently watched a pick up video where a kid scored 90 or so boxed SNES games at an estate sale" |

You don't need Winter Gold for Smooth rolling or Overclocked Starfox 2, Doom is good enough. You need Winter Gold only for Smooth rolling or Overclocked Starfox 2 with save function, and I think the save function is only for highscore keeping? So unless you are crazy like me, go with either with save function or higher framerate. --- End quote --- Looks like you can actually use Doom to get the overclocked version with save function as well - requires a diode, SRAM chip, and a battery holder but supposedly it can be done. Can't seem to find the guide though.... ::) |

Maybe 19, 20? Sadly, that's now considered a kid in my book. |

To be fair, some people have gotten REALLY lucky with pawn shop/goodwill finds, and often find games that demand high prices online for a mere couple dollars. It's harder now than it was a few years ago, I guess that's why online prices are up. |
