--- Quote from: Maben on August 21, 2012, 09:24:24 AM ---It's definitely a matter of opinion.  I'm sometimes looking for just the opposite of you Pikmin Overlord.  Games like Oblivion can turn me off due to their vastness.  I have about 2 hours logged, put it down and haven't picked it back up.  I guess it's just something about the sheer scope that makes me feel a bit lost and confused and as I like to try and complete all the tasks put forth to me it just feels daunting.  On the other hand, a lot of folks hated the linear nature of FFXIII and that was the first modern retail game that I got 100% achievements on...played it to death.

Let me tell you all something. The in-game world could be the biggest one ever, but if 100% of it is boring and lifeless, then I'm not going to want to explore it.

Also, and I don't know if this is a coincidence or not, but I tend to enjoy games with a bright, colorful graphical style(I.E. non-realistic graphics). Out of all the games I've played in my lifetime(And it's a'lot, I assure you), 99% of the games I've enjoyed had a cartoon style to them(Mostly Nintendo games). That 1% includes stuff like Metroid Prime, which while it had realistic graphics, it still had some sense of animated style going for it.

The same is true for movies. 99% of the movies I enjoy are animated features. Live-action just doesn't do it for me most of the time; Just seems lifeless and boring to me to see other people "acting" when there is so much more an animated film/game could offer. :/

So, you guys obviously have different opinions about whatever games you're talking about (haven't read all the posts, too much blah blah for games that I don't play).  You're not going to convince each other to like what the other likes, so maybe just letting it go would be OK at this point.

Dan-Fu:

No pickups this month?

Or are you guys just shy?

Arseen:

During last few days I've bought 6 copies of Winter Gold for SNES, And additional 3 are pending sellers deciding will they ship overseas.
