I haz teh mostest rare cover!

Bonus points to anyone who knows where this cover comes from :)

There are only 2 actual US retail covers, Players Choice and Original release.  You can't depict the color gold on a monitor or TV screen, and gold was used on the actual covers, so yellow/brown gets used instead to get the point across.  It's known as a "spot color".  It cannot be reproduced with traditional CMYK printing, so it's added as a 5th color in the printing process and adds significant cost, which is why you don't see spot colors used more often.  Same goes for day-glow/fluorescent, other metallics, and colors that simply cannot be reproduced using CMYK.

Dan-Fu:

Is it just a modified version of this? http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=6751

wiggy:

Nope, that looks more like a modified version of this ;)

Here's a hint; it wasn't made by anyone here or on any other cover site, it's not an official Nintendo cover, but it was a mass-produced cover.

Dan-Fu:

I have no clue at all!

UncleBob:

Bah.  There are two versions of Wind Waker worth getting for the cover.  The Wind Waker/Metroid Prime two-pack and the Wind Waker/Master Quest two-pack. :D
