i was just wondering, how many versions of this game are there? the zelda wiki doesnt tell me anyghing.

i know there was a collectors versions which came witha bonus disc, and a limited edition, but, where does this one stand?

It seems to be the normal release. The actual cover is slightly different, its more gold than yellow, try to get a actual photo than the stock image.

ive asked him and really doesnt answer, but i dont care anymore. however,  which could be considered the best cover for a collector, just to know, i found out theres 3 versions:

this one, the brown one with light-like lines coming from the center, and the same brown one but with the "best seller" seal.
i like the original yellow one more however.

I'm not sure a yellow one exists, I think it was a early mock up.
Probably the best one to get as a collector is the one with out any "Best Seller" or "Players Choice" banners or seals.

ok, thanks everyone, i guess any of the versios available its ok. talking about the player schoice thing, dont you find it weird that this is the same thing playstation has been doing with its "greatest hits" covers? however, players choice doesnt seem to bother. even nintendo selects such for putting the cover inside the cover and the stupid hole boxes.

I haz teh mostest rare cover!

Bonus points to anyone who knows where this cover comes from :)

There are only 2 actual US retail covers, Players Choice and Original release.  You can't depict the color gold on a monitor or TV screen, and gold was used on the actual covers, so yellow/brown gets used instead to get the point across.  It's known as a "spot color".  It cannot be reproduced with traditional CMYK printing, so it's added as a 5th color in the printing process and adds significant cost, which is why you don't see spot colors used more often.  Same goes for day-glow/fluorescent, other metallics, and colors that simply cannot be reproduced using CMYK.

Nope, that looks more like a modified version of this ;)

Here's a hint; it wasn't made by anyone here or on any other cover site, it's not an official Nintendo cover, but it was a mass-produced cover.

Bah.  There are two versions of Wind Waker worth getting for the cover.  The Wind Waker/Metroid Prime two-pack and the Wind Waker/Master Quest two-pack. :D
