Medea shelving changed their UGCs slightly. I got a box fairly recently, and I only had 3 before I got it, which were older, but the plastic was clearer and the plastic sheet around it that keeps the cover in was smother and tighter. There were 5 or so older type cases in the box. I'll post some pictures later.

This has been discussed before, they have definitely changed and seem to have a slightly smaller inside sleeve dimension.

They seem to change with every order I place.  My SNES covers are a smidge smaller than what are available on the site for that very reason.  They just wouldn't fit without reducing the size a bit :(

They were too light reflecting before.

I was just about to buy 200 more UGCs, has anyone experienced the same issue ordering from the Video Store Shopper's website?

For me personally there is no "issue" with the "new" UGCs....

Does it require shrinking the covers created on this site?

It's the same company, but the service on VSS doesn't exist at all for some reason.

They might require a tad extra trimming if you don't.

I actually prefer the fact that the sleeves are clearer.  The amazing work of the cover creators shows through a bit more.

The sleeve is also slightly smaller but a small trim of an mm or 2 and it will fit just fine.

I also find the inside clips are a bit easier to cut through with the dremel tool.

while they don't feel as solid I do like the clear cases better. That said, it bothers me that I have like 200 old and 200 new and can *somewhat* tell the difference when looking at the collection as a whole

You only need to trim an extra millimeter or two off each side it's fine for the height
