Thanks guys,  will check all those out.

Mine came with blazing lasers sealed inside.

@gruesome -  I've got a soft spot for 16 bit shooters, but also love 2d fighters and puzzle games.  And you prob can guess I like platformers from the PAC-land comment above. :)

Any views of the tg versions of:
Vigilante
R-type
Fantasy zone
Dragon spirit

Most auctions seem to be coming up from the us, so looks like I'm gonna be paying lots of postage :(

Cant believe no one mentioned Neutopia I & II. Another one of my favorites (but you'll need a converter ) is Final Soldier.

And yeah, Soldier Blade is badass. Probably my favorite shmup for the TG16. Still dont have a copy yet, because I refuse to buy a copy without the book, plus its pretty tough to come by to begin with. Then theres Magical Chase, but we wont go there...

Don't forget Super Star Soldier!!!

Or Ordyne, or R-Type Complete!

There are soooooo many great shooters on the TG....

As far as Schmups - Solider Blade, R-Type, Super Star Soldier, Air Zonk and Sidearms are some of the TG-16's best offerings (Blazing Lazers obviously, but you've already bought that). There isn't too much in the way of fighting games on the TG-16 unless you have the CD add on. Great puzzle games: Tricky Kick, Parasol Stars, Boxy Boy, Bomberman '93 and Chew Man Fu.

Thats probably the best version of R-type you can get on a retro console. I would also recommend Jackie Chans Kung Fu Adventure (if you can find a copy), Its better than the NES version.
