Well, he really has no choice! Once he gets the game to test it out he'll have to make a cover!  :P

@Wiggy, are you going to use a DVD case, 8 Disc Poly, or something completely different for your TG-16 games?

Yeah, pretty much this LOL!

You know, I'm not really sure.  I was gonna do 8-disc poly for the SEGA CD games, but now I'm thinking maybe just regular DVD, and I am honestly entirely undecided about TG-16 at the moment.  The prices for TG16 games have gone through the freakin' roof, which means that I probably won't be buying a whole lot in the near future, so I may just do UGC since they won't require a large shelf at this point.  Hell, maybe I'll just take do CD cases, not at all decided yet.

Neat!  These are really cool!  The only thing that bugs me personally is how the diagonal stripes meet the one-tone horizontal red stripes.  It bugged me with the original Genesis covers too, so I changed it in my custom template.  Other than that though, really nice covers, I especially dig the Spinball and Columns covers.

Thanks!

In my 1st go at it, the front and back also had the stripes.  But, after printing some test pages, it just didn't work for me.  Having the stripes along with the artwork just felt distracting to me.  My next thought was to eliminate them altogether, but then I thought it might be nice to place them so that the pattern continues seamlessly when you place them side-by-side, and I like how that came out, so I stuck with it ;)

Are you gonna use Photoshop?  If not, what are you planning on using?

I've never used that. Have you thought about using Gimp?  It's really user friendly and surprisingly powerful for being freeware.

I'll second that opinion. My first 3 covers were made in GIMP... very great FREE program. Using Photoshop now, but I actually jump back and forth because a few tools are more intuitive in GIMP IMO.
