It wasn't until the backlit GBAs that I thought about adding it to other systems.
I'd like to correct the issue with the inability to completely close the case up on yours. It's an issue that nobody seems to have seriously looked at before, and it made me absolutely nuts that I couldn't close the case all the way. That's not my style. I HATE the idea of "half-assing" anything, and that's what it felt like when I started modding the NGPC systems.
It's totally bass-akwards. The easiest portable to get the front light in to is the Wonder Swan Crystal, which is paper thin. The GBA is slightly trickier, and is a bit thicker than the WS. And the NGPC is like as thick as a freakin' Nomad, yet squeezing that light bar and diffuser in there is a total pain in the arse
Anyway, if you wanna send it back, I'll update the mod so the shell halves completely seat and I'll add a switch if you'd like. You know I'm not gonna leave my first and favorite customer out to dry. But you know how it goes being an early adopter; You always get the short end of the stick. The folks who wait around end up with 2 times the memory, better casing, higher res screens, blah blah blah. But, unlike apple or anyone else, I'm gonna try and make sure that those updates will benefit my early adopters
