Any Graphic Designers Around Here?

This might sound silly, but are there any Graphic Designers in the house? My designer Dave is a busy man going through a possible career change and doing free work for me has taken a rightful back seat. This leaves me in the position of being stuck on the redesign of this site. I am an impatient person when it comes to projects like this. I want a better site and I want it now. This is where you come in. I need someone, or a few of you, to step up and help me make this site the best that it can be.

Would be glad to help but my graphical designing skills are never ever good enough to design a web page as complicated as ours.... I'm happy when I can control photoshop a bit....

You know I am willing to help on the DB and PHP but, well, graphically I can't even do a good job on covers. Luckily the half human half machine Lumberjack42 is here.

I haven't done much outside covers, (Why I didn't PM you) but I could be of some possible use.

The site layout really needs to be pretty simple. Navigation and a super clean and straightforward way to display the covers. The focus will be on the covers and content and not cramming 36 ads in your face and hiding the download links.

And ideally should list ALL games for a system even if we dont actually have a cover for it. This might just help getting those covers highlighted to the masses so we can encourage people to help fill in the blanks.

I was working on that with Snowcone but lost track of which consoles I have sent the sql import statements to populate a games list for.

Some of them might need to be modified to account for covers uploaded after you sent me the table dumps.

can there be a way for the artist of the cover to be able to revise their work after the cover is uploaded?

i've noticed with a few covers i messed up a tiny detail and wish that the version on the site could be fixed.

I think that's very very difficult to implement because even we Admins can't change covers which are allready posted.... Only the administrator(snowcone) can change uploaded covers and I think he wants to keep it that way(which I can perfectly understand).

Shenske, you just have to be more careful what you upload, now that you're a star of the internets
