For me, most prized in my collection aren't necessarily games that are hard to find, or remotely expensive - more so games that I still love to play, or have memories attached to them. There are lots of them but here are a few: Colecovision - smurfs rescue in gargamels castle. Managed to get a new sealed copy a couple of years ago. It's no longer sealed, but still loved. megadrive - NHL 94 - yes a dollar sports game - but had so many fun nights with this, definitely holds a special place in my collection. Master system - Alex Kidd in miracle world. I remember leaving my master system on overnight trying to finish this as a kid. Just played it through again on the ps3 the other week, still a lot of fun. Ps1 - tony hawks pro skater 1-3. The first game in my adulthood that I would actually call an addiction. I would even get up early to have a few games before work. Ps1 - tekken series. Falls into the same category as NHL 94. Lots of great nights, and hazy memories. Snes - street fighter 2. See above. Amiga - sensible soccer. I grew up with my sisters Atari 2600. She lost it and all my boxed games in a house move about 15 years ago (left it in the loft - I just hope the new house owners appreciated it), so currently trying to replace some of those that have a special place as my first games. Recently reacquired video Olympics, circus Atari, space invaders, bowling, amongst others. Whether they will stay in my most prized list for Long is another question, but right now I'm loving the nostalgia attached. I guess the actual most prized things in my collection are the consoles that allow me to still play all of those. Most of my hardware boxes are minty, and complete. Including master system mk1 and Atari 7800. |

That game and Cosmic Avenger were my two first Coleco games. |
