scarmullet:

So far, most valuable thing in my collection: First Run 20 gig PS3 that still works and plays PS2 games flawlessly.
One of the most valuable games? Star Trek: The Next Generation: A Final Unity CD-ROM...SEALED. Worth $75, payed $3.

madrocsz:

Did you have a list did those snes games? I video game hunt like my life depended on it and would be glad to keep an eye out for deals. I'm down to a handful of snes games I want myself so always looking. I'll even ship them to ya for free (yay work shipping account lol)

--- Quote from: wiggy on July 30, 2012, 12:30:36 PM ---I think I paid about $90 for X-men vs Street Fighter for the Saturn and the same for the Japanese House of the Dead 2 set that came with the gun and the EU version of Shenmue 2 both for the Dreamycast.

I'm sort of a cheap bastard, and I hunt for deals like its my job, so I prolly won't pay that much for a game again for a while.

Unfortunately, I'm down to the last 30 or so SNES games on my must-have list, and at least 3 or 4 are gonna cost me around 100 bucks :/

Most prized?  Prolly the 64DD. I'd really love to finish up the library for it, but Doushin 2 and Golf typically fetch 300+, which totally screws with my cheap bastard mentality LOL!  Prolly the only console that I want the entire library for, all 9 games :P

Great topic!

Most Prized: Australian PAL Terranigma + English Language Action Replay Mk3

Total Paid: $129.99 + 3.99 shipping. I couldn't believe I saw this pair up on the 'bay (and the price!), so I jumped on it, as the Mk3 alone IN GERMAN costs $200+USD (at this time) to import it.

Pikmin Overlord:

Believe it or not, there are two games that I paid $100 brand new back when they were both first released. Funnily enough, they couldn't be more different. The first was Chrono Trigger for the SNES (practically bought it on launch day), and the other was friggin NBA Hangtime for the N64! One of these games has held its value, and the other has not. You can probably guess which one has, and which one has not.
