Who Does Mods?
wiggy:
I've heard the 32X is a bitch. Luckily I have 2 sitting here at this point, so I figure I can at least give it a go on one of them.
irvgotti452:
If you find a decent enough tut let me know, i'd like to do this to my spares. Might even try rgb, i got all the parts for it just been really damn lazy lol.
ShoothimNow:
Wiggy, I sent you a PM (well not yet, but in a few minutes =P)

I do mods...
The 32x, Genesis, CD combo is what I'm going to point out.
The graphics run through both systems and a good way to point this out is dont connect the short cord from the sega to the 32x and see what happens. most games you loose sprites but have everything else.
beings thats said, you would need to mod the sega and 32x for video.
for the Sega CD I'm not to sure on that, I havn't dug to far into it but I beleive you would only need to mod the CD system.
I have the over under model 1 sega cd and had to do a fuse mod on it, and not only does it look sweet (and like it was supposed to look like it was on there new.) it makes it easy for if the fuse ever blows again to just pop in a new one.

I've done RCA out on a top-loader. I've never seen S-vid on one of those. Again, I'll hunt around on the web (cough Assembler cough) and see what I find. I don't think it's possible though...

I do not have any useful links, sorry Wiggy. I know the 32x can be done but the guy who does my mods really doesn't want to do it b/c he says it is not profitable enough for him. I wouldn't mind using component cables... Idk what the difference is between RGB and Component..? RGB = Red, Green, Blue, right? Component video is those exact colors. Whatever, I just want better than composite for those 3 consoles.

RGB is actually Red, Green & Blue the three primary colours of light which TV's use to produce an image internally. Component video is Luma (Green) Difference Between Blue & Luma (Blue) & Difference Between Red & Luma (Red) which the TV can produce a high quality image using that separate information.
Here's a picture to show how it's done. RGB is put together by the Red portion, the Green portion & the Blue portion of the 3 images. Component or YUV video is put together by the Luma (Green Wire) B-Y: Blue Luma Difference (Blue Wire) & R-Y: Red Luna Difference (Red Wire) of 3 images.
