Those scalers are pretty nasty. Check to see how your TV handles low res signals by playing a PS1 game on a PS2 via component cables. If your TV manages to get a decent picture doing that then your safe to just buy a SCART to YUV transcoder. I ran my SNES into one and then to my Panasonic Plasma a few times, it's not perfect but it'll do until I can be bothered getting a decent scaler. Of course that'll be awhile since I have a killer Bang & Olufsen MX7000 CRT and have no real need to switch to an LCD. |

If you are using the HDMI scaler link is in my post. And then you need Mega Drive 2 RGB-scart and normal HDMI cable. All can be found on ebay. |
