Ok so after having my SNES2 modded for S-video and seeing the amazing difference I want all my consoles modded to s-video. These are the 3 consoles I still need s-video on: NES (top-loader) Sega Master System 2 Sega 32X (Genesis 2 with CD model 2) I play all my Genesis games through my 32X as it is always plugged in... Not sure If the Genesis would need the mod, not sure if the sega CD would either since the only AV output is out from the 32X; nobody seems to be able to give me a straight answer on that one. Can you guys post links to the websites that you have do your mods? I'm hoping maybe Wiggy actually knows how to do these and could help me out, but everyone's suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

I haven't done the Genesis mods, but I'll look them up. I'm sure I can work my way through them. Do you have any especially useful links before I go hunting? I can definitely give you a far better price if you have me do all 3 at once ;) I've done RCA out on a top-loader. I've never seen S-vid on one of those. Again, I'll hunt around on the web (cough Assembler cough) and see what I find. I don't think it's possible though... |

Depending on how old the MS2 is, the procedure is the same as doing it on the Genesis 1. Because of the Clunky design, its very difficult to get S-video out of the 32x...most people just go with RGB and use Component cables for 480i. |

I know the 32x can be done but the guy who does my mods really doesn't want to do it b/c he says it is not profitable enough for him. I wouldn't mind using component cables... Idk what the difference is between RGB and Component..? RGB = Red, Green, Blue, right? Component video is those exact colors. Whatever, I just want better than composite for those 3 consoles. |

Gamesx.com Look at all of their helpful links on the right hand bar. You can learn the difference between all video signals and they have tutorials on how to do them. Also learn the maximum video potential of each. |
