Watching this video (first link) made me wonder whether this is also possible with Nintendo 64 cartridges?

I dont have any empty DS case myself so I was hopping that one of you guys could try to see if it's possible to fit a N64 inside a DS case, like this guy. I know to the DS slot has to be cut off but seeing that UGC are not so easy to come by I'm looking for alternatives.

Regarding covers, I messed around with one made for UGC. I basically just cropped and changed dimensions. Nothing fancy. :)

If you read the comments, he says N64 carts are too thick for Euro DS cases.

They are PAL casses. Unfortunately someone asked him on YT about 64 cartridges and said they couldn't fit, so I guess that answers my own question. :/

EDIT: Beaten. Sucks a lot.

Dang, got my hopes up for a minute - there just doesn't seem to be a good solution for holding N64 games and manuals together so I'm always looking for alternatives.
I'm looking for vol. 2, 4, and 5 of the Orchestral Game Music Concert CDs. I'll pay well if it's authentic and doesn't skip. :)

good solution for holding N64 games and manuals together.

Double wide DVD case.
1: It will fit manual better than UGC.
2: It will fit the cart. If rattle bothers you, cut piece of foam that is size of the case, and cut cart size hole in it.
3: Same goes to memory card.

I don't think the DS cases would have held the manuals any better than UGCs LOL!  :P

I was wondering if DS cases would close with an N64 game inside of them. The cartridge is bigger than the case, but maybe it would close enough if they were side by side on a shelf with a bulge in the middle? I don't have any gutted DS cases to try this on. The 32X video mentions that they case won't fully close.

Mine would be in US DS cases, unfortunately. I'm trying to be cheap and use what I have but I don't want to butcher one.

Definitely will not fit in a US DS case. The n64 cart is far wider than the case itself

Those are EU DS cases. I just took one of my spare cases and tried to stick a N64 game in there, to check if there's even a remote chance of the game fitting. By the looks of it, the cart might just fit. It means gutting both the DS and GBA cart holders, and the top bracket on the front of the case, but it could work. I'm not sure if I can spare one of my cases to experiment, but after I check out my want list and see how many spare cases I have, I'll let you know.

Why not use 12-Disc Poly Cases? Similar size, obtainable in the UK. Holds SNES and NES too,
I made a SNES and N64 template for them that should be adaptable for DS covers.

Took one of your spare EU cases or US cases?
