So I began working on plans to make a few arcade cabinets for different consoles.
What I was wondering: Is it possible to replace the screens of handhelds with bigger screens? Such as making a say 18-20 in touch screen in the control deck to make a full sized DS arcade?

Quess it would be technically possible, but it would most likely take lot of custom programming, unless of course you do it PC route as in emulator.

But if you manage to do that I'll buy one probably.

It's probably technically possible, but the technicals are way beyond me.  I'd start with trying to find a pinout for the DS's screens.

Cool idea Slingshotgamer, the guys are right would be a mare to program and a big project.

I'll use any excuse to show mine I made 3 years ago.

Well I might wait and see is theres even a slim chance of the Wuu (Wii U) having a ds player before then. for now i'm just working on control panel designs. How does a Virtual Boy Arcade sound?
