This Forum Needs A Auto-Fit Feature for the Templates

One feature that this forum really needs is the ability to down/upsize templates to other sizes automatically..  What I mean by this is the ability to take something like Contra: Hard Corps that has a Genesis template and convert automatically to a Nnitendo 3/DS template. Everything would auto-fill and the setting would be converted over for the new template. What an idea?

There's no way to do that automatically, just lots of man hours.

From UGC to Genesis it could be done since it would require a simple resize and the aspect ratio is almost the same. A bit of PHP code could facilitate that.
At the same time, you can achieve the same in Paint in a few clicks.

i've thought about something like this for a while. Basically every element (manufacturer logo, spine title, etc.) becomes a small image, and they get assembled on the fly with CSS. It's a lot of work, and considering this would be all unpaid, I just don't see it happening. If the site were starting today, I think this would've been the way to go. On the other hand, there isn't a whole lot of gain in doing this. You save on having to remake repetitive elements, but if you use the photoshop templates that have been posted, that's basically the same thing.
