On the topic of Megaman X, last summer I tried a challenge of beating it without ever powering the X-Buster. I love the PSP remake too, but the SNES original will always be my favorite.
Capcom you need to deliver on Maverick Hunter X2 and Powered Up 2 someday!

Well, that's the logical order.
SPOILERS
1. Chill Penguin = Gives Dash to use against Storm Eagle + gives Ice shot to use against Spark Mandrill + Kills the flames in Flame Mammoth stage + Enables energy heart getting in Storm eagle stage + enables Armor getting in Sting Chameleon stage.
2. Storm Eagle = Gives hurricane to use against Flame Mammoth + Gives you Helmet for getting the Charge shot
3. Flame Mammoth = Gives you energy tank + enables energy heart in Chill penguin stage + Gives you charge shot -> Enables getting Boomer Kuwanger energy tank without Boomer Kuwanger weapon.
4. Spark Mandrill = Gives you Spark to neuter and kill Armored Armadillo.
5. Armored Armadillo = Gives you Shield to kill Launch Octopus
6. Launch Octopus = Gives you missiles to kill Boomer Kuwanger + Fills Sting Chameleon stage with water -> enambles energy heart getting
7. Boomer Kuwanger = Gives you Boomerangs to kill Sting Chameleon + Enables ene
8. Sting Chameleon = What is left.

Iv'e played through a bit of each never beat any but never tried, mostly just fooling around. I have Battletoads Battlemainiacs on the SNES and I love that game. I only realy played it with a friend and never got past the bike stage mostly because the BG screws with your eyes and i'ts hard to concentrate on the walls flying by. I may try that one two when I get some sleep.
BTW I can't sleep and its daylight where I am. I'm gona watch some YT videos and hopefully fall asleep doing so.
