S-Video N64 & SNES 2

Hey guys, I am trying to get the best picture possible out of my SNES 2 and N64. If I'm not mistaken, the N64 is good to go without any modding for S-Video, correct? My SNES 2 would need a Mod? If so, why does my SNES 2 say "Multi-Out" on the back? Doesn't "Multi" mean multiple, as in multiple options; Composite or S-video?
Also, since I have never used an S-Video cord, what exactly am I plugging in? I know the Red and white is audio, but do I plug in BOTH the yellow video cable AND the black s-video thing? Or just the black s-video thing?
How much better of a picture will s-video give me as compared to composite?

Dont plug the yellow. It's just an option. Picture is sharper and cleaner.

Damn... My N64 looks a lot better! Do any of these systems have s-video WITHOUT needing a mod?

No mod for any of those 3 (although, I'm not 100% sure on the PSone). If you're still interested in the SNES mini mod, I can get you a parts list and how-to. It's not too bad at all if you know how to solder. I'd say it's like a 2 on a scal of 1-10.

All of these except the 32x have an svideo cable you can buy. Not really sure if there is a svid cable for the 32 but positive on the others.
