Ok so unless you live under a rock, you're aware of the "Batman Massacre" that happened today.  I was planning on playing Batman on my NES tonight b/c I still have never beat it but now I'm afraid a killer will bust down my door and shoot me.

Do you guys think this massacre will affect upcoming Batman video games?  Do you think they may rate them all "M" even if they should be rated "T"?
Do you think some will be delayed --  The new Wii U one for example?

Thoughts and reactions please....

It shouldn't affect the ratings, as those are based on content, not controversy. If controversy affected ratings, then every game based around Rome would be rated AO because of the movie "Caligula".
My LPs Channel. Currently playing Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Resident Evil 2.

I don't think what happened will effect games....however while watching The Dark Knight Rises today with my wife in the theater I kept glancing over at the emergency EXIT door praying to god it didn't open up.

... you don't live in northern Colorado.  Quite a few of my friends were at other midnight showings only a few miles away.  I'm going to see it tomorrow and there is security up the wazzoo at every theater here (i'm glad)

Why anyone is able to secure not only one, but two AKs is beyond me. Sorry if you feel that our current gun laws are A-ok, but I think it's beyond stupid that some seriously sick fuck can secure that type of artillery.

This sort of thing seriously makes me scared to leave my house. I'm just gonna download a bootleg in a week or two then buy it when it eventually comes out on DVD. Not even gonna bother going out for this one.

edit: my bad, JUST one AR-15, a 12-gauge, and a couple of .40 caliber handguns.

The AK itself is not hard to get at all. A friend of mine had one and it was completely legal. The only thing that makes guns like AKs illegal is the ability to do full auto.  All you need is a few parts and know-how on how to assemble it.
