In bible when it rains for 40 days and 40 nights it's end of the world.

Here in Finland we call it summer.
------------------------------------------
Especially true this summer.
We are over half there already.
It has been pouring for days.

I would love to take some of your rain for a day or two...as long as it didnt stop mid day and just make it more muggy.

I agree completely. In Missouri, it's so hot and dry that when you spit, it evaporates before it hits the ground...
we are in a dought. Crops are wilting way to fast and I havn't had to mow my yard in a month.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

Half of colorado has been on fire this summer ... I'm truly envious of your rain.  :'(

I think we might be getting punished by plagues for trading Tim Tebow to the Jets.  :P

Don't be! It has been raining so much that drainage can just and just keep up with the water here.

And in the flat land areas (where there is no nowhere the water can go, it just stays on the fields (rise field style)) few hundred KM to the north will almost definitely lose all crop, potatoes at least.
Not big loss as rest of the land can catch up withth loss easily, but still shit luck to the farmers of that area.

  • Think off-center.
I can only relate to about 3 hours yesterday here in NY. But it has been extremely humid in the city all summer.

It gets very hot on some days here in CT, but today is nice. Yesterday was bad, and I only have AC in one room, not mine though, and the upstairs gets vary hot in my house.

It was a 119 F here last week. Not too uncommon for where I live.
The odd thing was that it then rained all day (hot rain, was still over 100 out)
Been humid as heck since.

Luckily the high will only be 111 tomorrow =D   (I work in a factory with no AC)
