I am trying to print some SNES boxes for reproduction carts and dont know the best printer to use. How do I get the "shine/gloss" effect? I know I need an A3 printer but my A4 laser does not come out glossy. Is there a certain type of card I need. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't think you're going to find a cardstock like that for a laser printer.

I would print the box art on glossy paper, then affix it to a piece of stock of your choosing.

Dude, you're killing me.  Do you have both?  If yes, then I prefer inkjet.  Better color reproduction by far.  If not, then just stick with the laserjet I suppose.  Either will get the job done, although I don't know how glossy laser paper gets.  I don't mess with laser printing ever at this point, but I recall there being really limited choices in terms of finish.
