Oh wow, it seems like the end of an era. This September marks the release of the last PS2 game in any region; FIFA 13 and PES 2013. Alot has happened since the day the PS2 first dropped, in fact the world has completely changed since October 13th 2000 (US drop date)
Since then, Nintendo has released a new handheld (GBA), ended it, released a successor (DS), ended that one, and then got to the 3DS. Sega was a console manufacturer, and now we have Sonic games on Nintendo consoles. We've seen Microsoft become a competitor in the console market, and the end of VHS movies, as well as Laserdiscs. I played video games 12 years ago, and now I sell them.
