Games you absolutely refuse to own
scarmullet:
What are games you would rather throw in a bin rather than add to your collection?
I have a small list
Ultima IX: Ascension
This game, I got for my birthday in 1999, and I loved the Ultima games since I was a wee youngin, and this game....I broke a keyboard over a wall over this game.
Napoleon Dynamite: The Game
No, just...no....NO
Command and Conquer for ANY console (PC only)
Sometimes PC controls do not transition well to a console.....Dune: Battle for Arrakis, Clock Tower, and Sim City are all examples of how it can be done, but any C&C console port I have played...was craaaaap.
Dune for Sega CD
(see Command and Conquer)
World of Warcraft
(see Napoleon Dynamite: the Game)

Hmm... that's a tough one... maybe any of the "Imagine" games on the DS? (see Napoleon Dynamite: the Game)

Any sport games. They are obsolete within a year and are pretty boring, sure there are a few good ones but that about it.

Yeah, I tend to agree but there are some sports games that age beatifully and are just as fun to play now as they were when they were new. Some examples:
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (NES)
Tecmo Super Bowl (NES)
Mario Golf (GBC)

I'm a huge sports fan on the side - add ESPN 2K5 to that list! It was one of the last great realistic sports games IMO, I still play the current Madden games though because I have a spending problem lol. For cartoon-y sports games: Mutant League Hockey/ Football, Mario Strikers series (great with multiple friends), NFL Blitz and NHL '96 for the Genesis were all excellent. I went to the free-play rooms at PAX a year ago and there were STILL people competitively playing NHL '96. Sometimes considered the apex of NHL games. :)
