I also posted that at 4 AM during a heat wave and I have no AC.

But back on topic, before when I was talking about my digital games, my 3 Wiiware games and Minecraft and Portal on the PC, and I completely forgot about other games i got from steam, indie game bundles, and Virtual Console. So a advantage is you know what you have.

And at Staf - Angry Birds is a game, If it is not, than Tetris, Space Invaders, Dr. Mario, Donkey Kong, Arkanoid/ Brake Out, Pong and any basic game from early in game history is not a game. Sure its not the best game, and it completely rips off another, and the company is merchandising it to hell for no reason, but it can be played. Its a game.

That is true. I meant to say I don't consider it a game in my collection.

As I don't own a downloaded game in any physical matter I'd say no for me.

I've got a couple of phone games in my backloggery, and those are the only ones I really feel don't belong there (the one advantage of Amazon's App Store is the free app of the day, which is where I get all my "paid-for" apps).

I collect Mega Man games. For me to say such and not be able to count Mega Man 9 and 10 just seems wrong. Not every purchase needs to be (I'd understand if you didn't include mobile phone games), but if they are linked to consoles or handhelds, I say include them.

As for covers for digital games, I understand it, especially with a circumstance like this one. By having cases on display, it fleshes out the collection, and gives it proper perspective. It's easy to forget how many games you really have when you don't see the digital games. Making covers for them is like including them in backloggery, but with something that can pass as tangible, even if it's only symbolically so.
