The box is more of a square... and to make things fit nicely, I would have to stretch, which is completely ugly, so came up with this design.  Hopefully you guys like.  The printed version looks VERY nice.

I ended up adding the retail Nintendo logo to the spine because just the word "nintendo" didn't look correct printed.  I needed the real deal  8)

Personally i like the colorful spine of the NES. Everyone seems to want to make a template with an all black spine but it would get really old if all of your covers ended up with an all black spine across all systems.

I was thinking something more like this for those style clamshells.  This is just a 90 sec mock up.  It would be super easy to convery exsisting covers doing something like this.

Just something to think about  :)

Ok. Sorry to bring an old topic back from the dead, but I am currently working on a lot of these.
Just did my first case tonight. Doesn anyone still have any of thier template work on these? I would be really happy if someone did.

I really like this template design, if it can be found.

Do they fit the old (rental) cases?

They are 5 7/8 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide. Which will turn out to be a bit smaller due to adding the sleeve.
So actual details are extremely close to 14.5 cm tall and 28.3 cm wide.

Any help would be great!  :)

They were for 8-Disc Poly Cases, I forgot the dimensions, but they could be scaled to that easily.

The NES template above, if the original is not found, would be easy to remake.

Heck ya, those look good too.
But as good as you are with Digital art, Whatever is whipped up would be great.
I just plan on taking the current covers and shrinking them down to fit without any stretching. then having the Nintendo sidebar to fill the rest of the space (just like the above images)

I'm only just ok with photoshop.. It takes me a while to make things because I don't know all the tricks to it quite yet.

That is a bummer you can't get the 12 disc poly case. They seem to take up so much less space and less work than the other cases.
