That's a whole lotta cases. Did you ever determine if the ones on eBay were decent enough or not?

i made some covers for pokemon firered and leafgreen out of boredom. wanted to try something different, so i tried to make em kind of stripped down and 'fancier' looking (they're supposed to look leather bound like a book, haha.) what do you guys think?

Damn, yeah, I really like these. They remind me of the Trainer's Guides that came with Red/Blue/Yellow. Very nice, man. You should make covers in this style for all of the Pokemon games. I would definitely use these if I didn't already have all my Pokemon games cased with nicely matching spines.

I'd suggest that you do custom spine logo, where the white parts of the current one are gold and black ones leather
