Got bored at work today, so I decided to make a cover for Pokemon ShinyGold (FireRed hack).

DAMN!!!! That looks GORGEOUS. Have you ever seen a reproduction cart of this game? It's worth buying just for the cover!

I agree the cover does look very nice. This is probably my favorite hack I've ever played. The only problem about getting s repro if thus game is you don't know what build the game was burnt at so you may gave some bugs or an incomplete version of the game. Another problem is the repros are often poorly built with no internal memory ... a pokemon game without saving would be terrible.

I actually didn't make it with those pirated carts in mind. As I mentioned I just got bored and made it. Besides the hack is still in beta status, AFAIK.

Had to download them, altough won't probably use it, unless you make such sick covers for the other Pokemon games too... hint, hint...

If I can find matching pictures then I will. Unfortunately, I only found Groudon for Ruby and Lugia for Silver that could work. If anyone can provide the rest of the mascot Pokémon, then I'm more than willing to do it.

Would anyone be interested in me remaking my Pokemon covers in the same treatment as I did for Super Mario Land & Super Mario Land 2. I can add it to my ever increasing to-do list ... like adding template and reworking a GB Tetris cover.

I was thinking more along the lines of using the original cover art but restoring it to be much smoother and more vibrant. I would also fade the original art for the background on he back.

As for pokemon It would be similar to that except I'd completely rework/reorganize the backs & spines to feel more like the DS versions. We'll see ...

VERY NICE!!! I always wondered why all of the games matched, even Final Fantasy Adventure, but not the first Legeneds. Thanks for fixing that for us! Cover looks great!!

I had a bit of free time at work today (i'm not back yet though).  I forgot about this little project i started about a year ago. This is how i will be casing all my classic nes games for the gameboy advance.  Here is just a sample of what i have in mind.

Among many other things; all text has been retyped and Mario is vectored!
