Didn't know where to put this since it is game boy but in a UGC, but here is a little project I have been working on.



 

Just did red but i could do other colors if i get some scans.
Also working on the Original DMG Template, which I can say is almost done  .

(Not a big fan of the spine so I will consider some good suggestions.)

I think it would be best in the GBA section we have on the site.  I put the console box in the section the system is for on my dslite & gbpocket covers.

...And if you are looking for suggestions on the spine i would suggest making a top banner like i did on the two consoles i've made so far. That way they all line up nicely

I personally use those. and yea I'll use that same banner you used on the gameboy pocket.

They do fit but to avoid tumbling around i cut out just under an inch of foam and lay it in and cut out a mold.

Look at this one. I'm workin the spine at the moment and i have all the elements together for the back and should be done very soon  .



Was alot of fun remaking that background. I might work in the "fire balls" on the original box if I get the time lol

For what case is that?

I know Original Game Boy will not fit in UGC, and doubt it will fit in VHS either.

39mm 12-Disc DVD case.

Saw it when I picked up the 8-Disc poly cases. The Gameboy fits PERFECTLY!!!!   (But I'll also have to mold some foam for it to not float around too)

Here's a little idea that would be a nice touch. Before you print out the final copy you're going to use, open the cover back up in Photoshop and add your serial number in the display box on the back. Will look much better than just a blank white area.

Heres an update for those interested!



This was based off the EU box scans. Back looks a bit plain so I'm gonna spice it up. What do you think!?

EDIT: Finally decided to vector the "blasts" and the little gameboy guy on the top right (got a couple more text styles to do i.e. link, multiplayer etc. &the one that belongs on the front of the box.)

I just might end up using that, as still have 3-4 of these paperweights somewhere in storage.

Lol well if you look wayyyy back i posted this before. I still have about 2 red ones 2 black ones a yellow one and like 4 grays. So you can see my motivation.

I actually remember vaguely that picture from before.

That Black and pink one looks pretty ... pretty.

Have you bought that case like that or have you painted that pink text yourself?

And are you going to convert that cover for the other colors too, at least to the normal range of colors

That is actually the original play it loud color scheme for the black. And if I can get one scan of the "play it loud" spine I just might who knows.
