It took me forever to figure out what font to choose that would match the original font used in the original logo. After closer examination i found out it is the same font the Madden games used prior to 2006.

Have you ever used What the Font?

You upload an image, type out the text contained in the image and it searches it's massive database of fonts to attempt to determine what style font is used in the image.

I've only used it a couple of times, but the results have been impressive.

Wow Thanks man! This is definetly gonna come in handy!

I tried making my first attempt at a GBA cover, I'm not to pleased with the back :(

Cover for M&M's Break Em'

Unfortunately we can't host that cover on the site. The artwork used is less than 300dpi which is our minimum

Hmm...I used scans here on the site, maybe they were in a low quality or I somehow messed it up.  I didn't think it would be hosted considering how bad the back of the cover looks.  How about the second cover that I made for the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends game, I was pretty sure that was at 300dpi, and that one is a much better cover.

I didn't even bother uploading the M&M's cover to the site, I had a feeling it was going to be rejected.

What image editing program are you using? Some programs such as MS Paint immediately bump the DPI down to 50 or so i believe.

DPI & PPI are the same thing, maybe your original scan in the raw folder was bad quality  ???

The original scans that were used say they are at 300 dpi using the windows explorer picture viewer...even the completed cover is appearing as 300 dpi...are you by any chance looking at the imageshack version?  It lowers the quality...

I had a bit of free time at work today (i'm not back yet though).  I forgot about this little project i started about a year ago. This is how i will be casing all my classic nes games for the gameboy advance.  Here is just a sample of what i have in mind.

Super Mario Bros. Classic NES Series

Among many other things; all text has been retyped and Mario is vectored!

Here is the old cover for reference

Let me know what you think  :)

The improvements look great! I gotta ask what version of imandix your using that has the DS case display. I finished 3 of my Virtual Boy covers a while back but was never able to figure out how to preview them.

Hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, but I really liked what Shenske did for Mario Land 1 and 2 and set out to do similar covers for the Wario Land games. I tried PM'ing shenske before I made this, but I never got a response so I don't know if he ever got it.

Anyhow, this should line up pretty well with his SML covers, hopefully it's comparable quality wise too. I've got Wario Land 2 coming up too.

No toes stepped on at all, great job AppleQueso!  I've just been really busy, i haven't replied to any of my PMs for a few weeks.  Small suggestion though, i think the barcode could be redone.

I'll fix that up right away then!
