Please stop posting in this thread. It doesn't seem to me like you are seriously interested in purchasing one of Forte's games.  EVERYONE know that you do not collect games and are not willing to pay a premium for a premium product.  No one is forcing you to purchase a game form Forte and from a collector's perspective they are not bad prices.

Simple supply and demand will change the price of a game. If you do not wish to purchase a game for the appreciated amount that it is worth because there is not an abundance of that game then please stay silent.

Thank god you haven't looked at DKCC Cart, otherwise you would probably be crying to mommy on why someone wants over $800 for a single game.
No, I'd just try to find the person who was stupid enough to agree with that amount, and commit them to a mental hospital. No system's even cost that much, as far as I recall.
You have three options;

1 - Buy the Mega Man Anniversary Collection, which is much cheaper than an individual NES copy, or download it on Xbox Live or Virtual Console. This is if you want to play the games as opposed to collecting them.

2 - Wait for some sucker to sell the game for less than the expected value; Some people don't know what they have, unlike Forte.

3 - Accept paying $35 for Forte's spare Mega Man 1 cart.

To everyone mentioning anything else regarding "Buying Forte's Mega Man Extra's", please post in a different thread.

If you have a problem with pricing, I have started a thread About Our Own Personal Collections so please continue there.  Otherwise, please stop hijacking Forte's thread.  He has some pretty sweet stuff here and I don't want to say "I want this game!" and never know that someone posted that it was claimed 2 pages back

since your not a collector, why would you even buy them? you can get the whole first 8 on the anniversary collection for PS2, GC, or XBOX for $10-$50 right on eBay.

I'm more into retro games than compilations.

Then don't whine and pay the price. Once you start playing the game you won't even worry about how much you paid for it.

Oh, yes I would; I'm not that clueless.
I don't normally condone flipping, but you could get all 3 carts for $55, then sell MM2 and MM3. By the end of it you'd probaly have spent less than $35. Just saying!

This whole bickering about my prices is ridiculous, considering I've just sold Mega Man Zero 1-3 and Battle Network 3-5 on EBAY at a higher markup than I was offering here. I'm offering deals better than fair market value, and anyone that can't see that is frankly an idiot.

At any rate, the sold items have been removed.

I gotta say, $100ish for complete copies of MMBN 3-6, and both versions of each one to boot, had to be one of the best deals in this thread. If I didn't already own cartridges I probaly would have snapped it up myself.

$55 for cart-only copies of the first 3 NES games isn't a bad deal either, but I think some people complain just for the sake of complaining, like that movie-fan guy. I at least try to be constructive with my criticism, if any.

Red Sun and Colonel are worth about 20 each, but 3 White is probably around 100 dollars, it's starting to get rare due to age.

Something else to consider is that most fans regard any MMBN after 3 to be crap.

Wonder why 3 Blue is a bit cheaper than 3 White, though? Judging by Amazon/Ebay, there seems to be a bigger supply of White and a bigger demand of Blue.

I never cared for the Battle Network games to begin with. I tried playing one of them a few years ago, and didn't like it at all; the same goes for titles like the Legends series.
