Seriously, do you ever sell cart-only copies for cheap? I'd even take just the circuit board and battery, since I have some spare SNES game shells.

Please do not keep mentioning the expensiveness of the games.
We can see asking prices are bit steep, but they seem to sell.

Too expensive/not enough money -> don't buy.

Remember, the prices are "fair".

Well, anyone who would pay that kind of money, just to leave it sitting on their shelf is making a very foolish decision. Games are meant to be played.

I know games I for playing. I only have Genesis Action 52 in umopened package as I already had opened copy and the unopened was 10 bucks or so.
In my book CIB is complete in box opened, New/FS/OSW is unopened.
I want manuals so I buy either CIB or CM (complete in box or cart+manual).

And sometimes I pay rediculous amount for stuff, next expensive lot will be revealed in 2 months or so. (one member here might know about it.)

I'll bet that some repro site will make cheap copy of FFG as it was not really published in US.
Other ones probably won't be made as those were released.

My copy was 50 bucks. original cart but repro box and manual.

Not from where I'm sitting. He's charging $100 more than Amazon for a used copy of "Mega Man 7", and more than $160 over them for "Mega Man X3". Even their prices are nuts, but these are insane.
Well, I generally don't care about original boxes and manuals, or even labels, as long as the board itself is in good condition. Transplanting to a spare shell is fairly easy.

If memory serves, the most I ever paid for a game was $50, and that was brand-new 20 years ago.

Seriously, Arseen, why do you let these guys go on whining about the price of Forte's games?  Every couple of pages it turns into a crapfest all over again.

WE GET IT!  You think his games are too pricey.

I did say this:

It is bit tricky to determine the point when he has gone to far.

Anyway no more critising the prices.
Further is considered spam and deleted.

As how shall I put it: It's not the seller who is stupid but the buyer if price is too high! ;)

Hey, I'd gladly buy from Forte, if he was selling cart-only copies for under $30 a pop.

But he is selling CIB copies, so you are out of luck.

End of discussion.

I'm just going to ignore Moviefan2k4 since he's the one with the problem, but I would like to say that the Mega Man SNES Collection is SOLD, sorry to those that expressed interest. I have added Mega Man 1-3 for NES and Rockman X4 for Saturn.

Out of curiosity, How did you come across so many boxed copies?

Also I asked this in your collection thread, but I was wondering if I can get a scan of Megaman Xtreme 2 for GBC?

Thank god you haven't looked at DKCC Cart, otherwise you would probably be crying to mommy on why someone wants over $800 for a single game.

Some games cost more than others.  The fact that Mega Man is popular makes the Mega Man games more money.  I would be honored to buy from Forte (though I do believe some prices are rediculous, they are IN FACT the "norm" and a little better priced IMO than ones anywhere else) but I need to find a game I really want =D.  I appreciate that he is giving us the options to buy them for a BUY-IT-NOW price compared to a competitive auction!

How much would you want for the cart-only copy of Mega Man 1 by itself?

Probably somewhere around 35

I buy ones I find cheap on eBay, Amazon, in the wild, etc, and keep the better of the one I buy and the one I already have, then sell the one I don't keep for less than what they generally go for on eBay. Amazon pricing is insane (because their fees are so high), I don't use it as a guide.

And yes, I will scan this for you tomorrow :)

Thank you for the kind words :) And I am still working on that Mega Man Soccer for you!
