There are a lot of overpriced bad games out there (just look at the prices for Action 52) but I think it's fine to pay a bit more than normal for quality games like the Megaman titles. Consider all the endless hours of replay you'll get out of them and the prices quickly don't seem so bad.

I paid less than $20 for a used copy of the Wii's "Super Mario Galaxy", but someone actually thinks an old NES game is worth more?

It's all supply and demand.  Supply of Super Mario Galaxy is high right now, enough to meet demand.  Supply of old games is only getting lower (games get lost/broken), and as collector's try to complete their collections demand gets higher.

Considering I've sold 2 games on here, over 40 on NintendoAge, over 10 on Amazon, and over 10 on eBay, I'd say my prices reflect my fairness. If you can't grasp the nature of games appreciating in value, that's not my problem. Do you think the island of Manhattan is still worth a handful of beads because that was the MSRP in the 1600s? Classic games gain value over time, not lose it. And it's not like all of my games are "three times their MSRP". I'm selling several for far less (GBA games retailed at 39.99 or more, SNES and NES at 69.99, etc). Plus inflation. If some of you want to be butthurt because you can't afford the games, fine. Go buy the Mega Man Anniversary Collection and the Mega Man X Collection and own most of these games for less than 20 dollars. If you want to own something valuable and collectable at a fair price, then that's what this thread is for.
