yikes, does Megaman V (aka Rockman World 5) really go for $73 now? I bought mine last summer at my local used game store for $25 and I thought I had overpaid. It's more pricy than even Megaman 7 now?! I wonder why...?

Mega Man V was a bitch to find at a reasonable price. I just got mine about a year ago to FINALLY complete my NES MegaMan collection

He's talking about the GB game. It's a lot pricier than even the NES title :-\

I've gotta wonder if the mention of the years 1942 and 1943 was a coincidence.

Cheapest on Amazon is like 109, and it's been around 80 on ebay for a month or so. I'm trying to offer it for less than it's selling for elsewhere to make up for the lower fees.

That would be Mega Man 5, which is currently going for about 35-40 loose.

Somewhat reasonable prices for the GBA Zero games. Are they priced as such due to the DS Collection being released?

Just reflecting the current market and undercutting it a little. I think the market was affected by the DS collection though, yes.

Definitely.  I picked up Zero 3 for $2 and 4 for $5 on eBay last week ;D

Checking Amazon...

MMZ1 - $8ish
MMZ2 - $6ish
MMZ3 - $7ish
MMZ4 - $9ish
MMZC - $25ish

Collection is cheaper if you want all 4, but if you only want a couple, then getting the gba carts is cheaper. I imagine these are cart only, though, so with Forte's offers you're essentially only paying a couple more bucks to get the box and manual.

I'll prolly buy the DS collection at some point, but I like playing them on my Micro, plus it means more MM games on my shelf ;)

I'm not saying your prices are market unreasonable, but I'm just wondering why Megaman V (Rockman World 5) is so expensive nowadays? I checked a few years ago when I was looking and I paid $10 for a CIB copy which I then sold, but I later rebought cart only for $25. Why is it so much now?

That's how collectibles work. Time goes on, value increases, especially if rarity or perceived rarity increases.

I know I sold my copies of MM4 and MM5 for at least 35 bucks as loose carts about 5 years ago.

You paid TEN DOLLARS for a CIB Mega Man V? That would be worth about 500 today. The video game collectables market has really taken off, and long lived franchises like Mega Man are suffering the worst from the price inflation.

yeah, $10. I wish I still had it so I could sell it now lol

not that I would - it and games like Shantae are real gems in spite of the fact that they're crazy pricy now.

Ugh, Shantae is at least $150+ too expensive these days.

People keep arguing back and forth whether or not a bubble exists for these games...I'm not so sure about it. I'm just trying to buy low and sell high(er than I paid).

Mega Man 7, Soccer, and Battle Chip Challenge sold on another site and have been removed.
