Battle Network 3 White $100
Battle Network 4 Red Sun  $20
Battle Network 5 Team Colonel $20

Red Sun and Colonel are worth about 20 each, but 3 White is probably around 100 dollars, it's starting to get rare due to age.

Wait SERIOUSLY? people would actually pay that much for Battle Network games?

Don't get me me wrong, I mean I love them, but can I honestly expect to get that kind of cash for them?

3 is a fantastic game, but my biggest endorsement of 4 are the awesome and hilarious typos. Still never played 5.

Well, the first two demand $20+ for just the cart, and it looks like 3 is starting to catch up.

Based on what I've played, I enjoy the first two for sure; I guess it's just a case of franchise fatigue, which seems to happen all too often with Mega Man. :/

Classic Mega Man could have been a few entries shorter, and same with X. MMZ is probaly one of the better-handled Mega Man series. I would also say Legend, but seeing as Capcom willingly cancelled the third entry...

jeeze...and my copies aren't only complete, they're sealed..

the first three games are really, really good.

4 is not.4 takes some of the best aspects of 3 - Style changes and the Add function and removes them, and replaces them with the cool, but limited usefulness of Soul Unisons coupled with being locked to fewer chips, and in my opinion, most of the MN4 chips suck.

I forced myself to play through 4 recently all the way to the ending (once, anyway..I'm not going to do the Ghost 'n Goblins thing of beating it twice to see the true ending). Battle Network 4 can be summed up as: in a simple formula:

1. Reach a new area and explore - both real world and internet area.
2. Be given a task and go on a fetch quest.
3. Have so much text that wasn't screened that there will be a typo in about one out of every 10 lines. Seriously.
3. Tournament battle
4. Plot exposition
5. Boss Battle Network (what makes Battle Network games fun)
6. Repeat steps 1-5.

Some elements of the game are really great and even the typos are charming in how obvious and bad they are, but the frequency of fetch quests drove me insane. I'm not kidding at all. The game has you go on a fetch quest to participate in a tournament battle. Then when you are entered, you go on a fetch quest to learn who your first opponent is. Then you fight that oponent in the tournament. You win, and then the game will show you who your next opponent is, and then force you to go on a fetch quest before you can fight the next opponent. The fetch quests NEVER STOP!

The last game in the series, Battle Network 6 also has plenty of fetch quests, but they are varied and interesting, and far less numerous.

I'd say if you are a fan of the first two games, play 3 next and then skip right to 6. I haven't played 5 yet to give any real opinions on it, but only play 4 if you're super hardcore into Megaman AND extremely forgiving.

Not a fan of skipping around, though I do hear that between 4, 5, and 6 that 6 is the best. At least it went out with a bang, eh?  :P

If they ever release a 3DS collection, I'd probaly sell off my carts of 4-6. Problem is, how would a BN collection work? If they didn't bother with the two version cash-in...

If they're dedicated (which they aren't), they'll make a blended version like Mega Man Battle Network 5 DS which combines both versions for 3, 4, and 6 and put them on the collection with 1, 2, and 5 DS. If they're lazy (which they are), they'll just put each game on the collection. If they hate Mega Man (which they do), they'll only give you one of each version on the collection. If they continue with tradition (which they will), it will either never get made, or announced and then cancelled half way through. 25 is not a good age for Mega Man :(

You just cited the formula for almost every JRPG in existence :D

Oh, I missed this, it's just because they're sealed. They aren't worth jack even CIB.

How much are the ZX and Star Force games worth? I know ZX Advent has gotten pretty pricey.

Depends on if they're sealed or not. ZX Advent is around 25 used, 40 sealed. ZX is around 20 used, but closer to 70 sealed for some reason. The only Star Force games of value are Star Force Dragon (since it was a Gamestop only release) and for some reason, Star Force 3 (especially Black Ace) even though it was the most recently released.

The other issue I have with Battle Network 4 is Roll. Roll gets kidnapped. a lot. Back in my day, we knew how to treat Roll with respect!

Definitely some good deals in this update. $38 for a factory sealed Mega Man 64, $75 for that Battle Network lot, and $100 for the two Legends games.

If I didn't have the X Collection on PS2(And actually used paypal) I probaly would have snapped up that complete X6.
