Nah you boys are right, I indirectly went mental with the filtering on this one. Pretty much just left it automated. Here's something a little more conservative, light moire reduction, some retouching scratches/dust and a little level correction. Just wanted it done quick I guess, spent 2.5 hours on this compared to the 15-20 on Bomberman. Did not want to get into one of "those" covers again haha, should be fine now. Take a look and let me know. |

Take a look and let me know. --- End quote --- :o :o :o ..........yeah, lets never have another Super Bomberman level of clean up required again!! thats one haunts my very soul. :'( That one is better in terms of the filtering but for me there are still too many imperfections/scratches/bits of dust.......or "sand" all over there. ;D Thats just me though and the stickler for pixel perfect level of perfection kind of person the cover admins have turned me into! ha ha. I started going over it last night and got about half way through removing EVERYTHING I would not be happy with, so Ill finish that later and we can have a look at them both to see where we are. Sorry man, I really hate this doing this......especially with people who are much more experienced and long standing than I am (and with someone who has taken over covers from me because I couldnt handle them!!).......just please do not take my interruption and attempts to "take over" as anything more than trying to help and get this one done for the list here. |

Man go for it, I can't tell what's supposed to be there and what isn't without a decent reference image. Just be careful though, I checked it against a couple of other images online and a lot of that "dust" is actually detail that's in the original painting. Same goes for the scratches, a lot of those are thick brushwork. Particularly the more vertical ones. |
