To be honest, I think it is good enough and I also think this is the reason of why people do vertical, as it is more free for all and they can use whatever screenshot they can find under good image. |

I think you guys are completely misinterpreting things. Arseen would like high quality replacement captures (yes exact) if they are achievable. (More easily achievable on 8-bit formats, as you can actually move the sprites around in Photoshop) If not, then cleaned ones from a HIGH QUALITY scan are going to be accepted. No cover has ever been rejected because screen caps were as blurred as they are on the retail box. However, if they are taken from a poor quality scan, they are likely to be rejected. Now, can we move on? |

Now, can we move on? --- End quote --- LOL, sorry man, I wasnt trying to make a big deal of it (I know you get it all the time, including from me when I first started doing these)......but I have seen our man Arseen say many a time that he would not have approved certain covers I have had approved by you, TikeTak and others.......purely based on the screen shots not being re-captures. As I said, I will only ever NOT do re-captures when I am working from a great high res. scan, and also have managed to do a lot of clean up on them. So that long post was more directly at Arseen I guess as a question, as he and I have talked extensively (mostly via PM) about the merits of high res. scan based screen caps vs re-captured ones being acceptable. Again, sorry, was really trying to not come across like I was having a moan. |

OK, I'll dial down the quality selector tiny bit when looking Horizontals, VERTICALS STILL NEED PERFECT SCREENSHOTS AS THEY CAN BE CUSTOM. Peace to the boards. ;D |
