Well, endeavouring to not have another Super Bomberman fiasco..........I have attacked this swine with a renewed hunger and defiance! :-[
So here it is......many thanks to Banisher for the re-scan of the back, as after how much trouble the front was, the back would have ended me I think. ;D
Hope everyone who has wanted this for so long likes it, and as always, if anything needs changing just let me know.
And before you say anything Arseen, :P , no I wont be re-capturing the screen shots, they are from a very high quality scan, I have run my filters and stuff over them, I have gone over them with a fine toothed clone stamping comb...........and..........well, no, I wont be playing through a game I dont care about, for a cover I dont need/want. ;D
If anyone has or wants to get screen shots for covers like these then I will gladly get them all slotted in.
Legend - NTSC - Horizontal Retail
Also, I spotted an issue on Super Batter Up where I obviously had edited one of the text boxes and not noticed that it re-formatted it to looking a bit odd.........not massively noticeable but none the less wrong.
So I took the old link down, sorted it out and re-uploaded =

I think we should upload those two covers to the website, so everyone can have it.

Well, the "only" cleaned up to a high standard but non-direct new screen capture game images might be what would prevent that..........although, I must say, the last 3 Ive done ALL had the screen caps cleaned up and presented in this way, and they were all uploaded.
So we are discovering a bit of that ambiguity in standards here. ;D
I mean I know and completely agree that we need to uphold/impose a VERY high standard of production here, and certainly cannot ever go back to the way things were before........but there is a big difference between not having a cover available on the site because it requires a lot more attention to detail orientated clean up (dust, marks, scratches, poor lettering, colouring, incorrect images, etc)............and not uploading one because of the one single issue of very high level scan based games images vs new direct screen captures.
Thats just my 2 cents and as I have said, I dont really have the inclination (or feel the need due to the high res .scans I use) to play through a game on an emulator to TRY and re-create the EXACT scenario depicted on the original boxes screen caps.
I mean do you guys REALLY do that? you play through a game on an emulator or whatever, reach the same point in the game, jump in the air, time it so the enemy is also attacking you, execute a kick, make sure they are swinging their sword........all whilst ensuring you have the EXACT same points and life left as the original screen caps??? how many attempts does it take to get that enemy to do what you want? do you have to farm points and purposefully die to make those numbers correct?
I am being facetious of course........but it seems to me that if there is this notion that the screen caps should HAVE to be re-captured, then surely they should also HAVE to be re-capturing the EXACT same scene as the original images no? ;D
