I've been printing out horizontal covers for my SNES collection as well. As there is no uniform SNES horizontal template, I chose to print covers as close to retail as possible.

That being said, there are a few covers on the site that are labelled as NTSC "Retail" but differ in several ways. The non-Player's Choice Super Mario Kart and Congo's Caper are two games where logos have been repositioned on the front. It's not a big deal, but in my quest for retail perfection, I have noticed it.

I don't know how the scan procedure works (yet), but I have the following (boxed) games:
Addams Family, The (PAL)
FIFA International Soccer (PAL)
International Superstar Soccer Deluxe (PAL)
Lost Vikings 2, The (PAL)
Magic Sword (NTSC)
Rival Turf! (PAL)
Samurai Shodown (NTSC)
Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (PAL & NTSC)
T2: The Arcade Game (PAL)
WWF Raw (PAL)

Actually I was looking for a cover for Syndicate. That still hasn't surfaced?

Flatten the box absolutely flat.
Put the box on the scanner bed absolutely straight.
Put heavy hardcover book on the box, it should be bigger than the box but smaller than the scanner bed.
add some extra weight.
Scan 600DPI, moire removal on.
Upload to Mediafire or Box.
Post link to the image on the boards.

Before scanning all your boxes, scan one and post the link here so we can tell you if something needs to be done so the scans will be perfect.

Alrighty. Saved the instruction on my hdd. Will give it a shot when I have the time.
I assume with horizontal you mean the original (SNES) box, and vertical is an edited version for the UGC?
I haven't seen any horizontal scans in the database here. We don't save those here? (or is that a copyright issue?)

EDIT:
Need to correct myself. I now notice that the covers labeled 'retail' are the original horizontal ones. And there is a seperate section for the raw scans  :)

Scan is the raw file containing the image (box) captured with scanner.

Currently raws are not stored on the site purely because of the storage space limitations.

Cover is the image after editing usually formatted to fit UGC (genesis covers also Clamshell) , and these come mainly in 2 variations:

Horizontal aka Retail cover is like this

Vertical aka Custom cover is like this

These are posted to the site once they meet our strickt quality standartds.

I will be creating covers for Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday, Phantom 2049, and although unlisted The Adventures of Mighty Max this weekend.

I will also take a stab at Aero the Acrobat 2, it seems that there is no high res cover anywhere but I'm so damn tired of not having a cover for this game I will take anything at this point.

Are there any others people would like me to do if there are raw scans?

I'm wondering, why isn't this one on the TCP database yet?

Also, I'm looking for Theme Park and Worms for the SNES. Any leads would be appreciated!

I've started working on a Worms vertical cover. I cannot finish it at this time because i'm working on four other covers.  I'll see if i can finish it soon.

Few ideas:
Dirty front image
Screenshots are not aligned properly
Screenshot quality not high enough.
White line separating front and spine at the top
Back cover's Ocean logo too close to spine
Front cover's Ocean logo too close to spine
Barcode wrong
