Sonic Colors was also extremely satisfying. This was the Sonic game that brought Sonic out of his funk. Link's Crossbow Training is loads of fun, despite how quickly you can beat it (it's not really a fully fleshed-out game). |

Boom Blox is a good example. Totally NOT worth 50 bucks by any stretch of the imagination IMO. --- End quote --- Agreed - i have only bought a few titles at full retail price - Endless Ocean 2, Links crossbow training, Mario Kart and Tatsunoko vs Capcom spring to mind - everything else was bought either second hand, or hugely reduced. I have also softmodded my Wii's and play all my originals from a USB Hard drive - which is another reason i still love the Wii even though it doesn't get much play time these days. The good thing about getting into a Wii so late in it's lifecycle is that you'll be able to pick up most of the good games at very cheap prices (apart from the Mario games which annoyingly hold their value for way too long). I picked up Boom Blox and Boom Blocks Bash Party for less than £5 each - totally worth it. Before i get called out about mentioning soft modding - i will not provide any info on how to do it, so don't ask - and as i stated, i only play my originals with it. I have just bought a PSVita, and to me it's those games that don't seem worth full retail. Too used to playing portable games for a couple of pounds on my iPad - although I only have Wipeout so far. |

Good for you man, there is plenty fun to be had on this system. A boy and his blob, de Blob 1 & 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns, both Kirby games, Lost in Shadow, Mad World, Metroid Prime Triology, Metroid Other M, Muramasa The Demon Blade, No More Heroes 1 & 2, Punch Out, both Wario games, both lightgun style Resident Evil games, Smash Bros, Xenoblade, Zack and Wiki, and pretty much every game that has Mario in the title is solid (ie: super paper mario and new super mario bros wii)... oh and Zelda shtuff too. I think that has a little bit of everything to love. If you need any advice on more gems let me know, if you want to play anything too I'm down to show my Wii some love again. |

It just seems silly to me. I have like 2 PSP games. I really only ever used it as a portable SNES/NES/Genesis. That's the only thing tha it was good for IMO. Don't know if I'll ever pick up a Vita. Maybe when they get their 1st or 2nd price drop. |
