Moviefan2k4:

The price on these finally dropped low enough, that I decided to snatch one up. I paid for a white version, that had the Gamecube compatibility, and got it home...only to realzie the console itself is the limited red scheme (the controllers are white, though). I paid $100 at my local Gamestop, plus $15 for a two-year warranty. I also got copies of "Super Mario Galaxy" and "Twilight Princess" for less than $20 each, plus 1-year warranties. That was yesterday, and "Mario" is working great! "Zelda" also works just fine, but the actual gameplay is rapidly ticking me off. I haven't even figured out what to do first yet, after the test ride with Epona. All in all, I spent about $160, and so far, it ain't bad.

I paid £33 for mine with no games or controllers, however on the way to pick it up I got flashed by a traffic camera blowing through a red light and got fined £60 and 3 points on my license, was a poor deal in the end and I barely play on it! :(

I bought my Wii new for $250 plus No More Heroes and Super Smash Brothers Brawl to round out the price to a little over $300. I bought it back in 2008 when the white version was the only color scheme available and I have wanted to upgrade to a black Wii ever since, but with the Wii U around the corner then I will stick with what I have for now.

Doom:

I camped 8 hours for my Wii on launch night. Wii Sports was fun back then. There are plenty of great games for the Wii, especially if you have real-life friends.
