App version of the site?

I tried looking it up but didn't really see anything. It may have been possibly asked before, but has anyone ever contemplated on making an app version of the site, or something alittle more phone friendly?
I myself look at this site in my phone a lot and I'm sure others do too.
Just curious.

I think the forum would need to be operating with vbulletin for that to happen.  I'm guessing they're using PHBB right now?


Vbulletin costs money, PHBB is free.

You guys (the site admins/owners) should set up a little donation pool to upgrade to vbulletin.  Or offer "premium" memberships like many forms do in order to help fund such upgrades and whatnot.  I'd be down to toss 10-20 bucks into the pot

I'm done giving vBulletin my money. The $160 startup cost didn't sound so bad, but you have to keep paying if you want upgrades. This site runs on Simple Machines Forum, which looks to be free, open source, and reasonably full-featured. Try one of these:
