Yup, they just take a little more work to remove. I'd strongly recommend disassembling the N64 to do it, whereas a chisel and hammer will make really quick work of the SNES tabs. |

Just replace the back of a Japanese cartridge, since there's no region lock, other than the "tab" itself. You can buy those cheap American N64 cartridges (like sports games) to do it. --- End quote --- No it doesn't if you do it well. |

Plus, when are you even gonna see it? Do you perform a visual inspection of the cartridge bay every time you use it ??? Come on, folks. The N64 isn't exactly a rare treasure. It's gonna be OK if a few get a little plastic surgery. |
