On a side note, why do people pre-order games in this day and age?

Is it just to get some sort of pre-order goodie(s)?

I only pre-order if I have enough store credit to pay off a game, that way I don't have to spend cash. So far I've saved around $500-$1000 by using store credit to buy my new games, and have been using that method for years.

I haven't done it in a while, but yeah, I would only do it for the toys and stuff. Soul Calibur 2 lithograph, gold Zelda N64 cart, etc.

Anyway, I heard rumors of a new version of the 3DS Circle Pad Pro that you don't need to remove anymore to change games and stuff.

Also, one of the Lego game developers accidently leaked a newly designed Wii U tablet with actual analog sticks as opposed to 3DS style ones.

Actually looking forward to E3 this year, hoping its not as stale as it has been. Seems last few years its been entirely too casual gamer w/ focus on motion controls lol. I will try and break down what I would like to see per manufacturer

Nintendo
- Rumors of retroware making new starfox and possibly mashup w/ metroid, doesnt matter they have made gold 2x now w/ nintendo franchises. Never understood why starfox was never made for wii and wiimote put into some flightstick controller
- Wii U price (and NAME CHANGE) ffs thats the worst name ever
- the new mario games they annoucned
-Smash bros for 3ds
- probably way off in terms of timeframe, but some HD collections for wii u

Sony
-playstation all stars battle royal full character list
-Infamous 3 (one can hope right?)
- Last of us release date
- Vita games/price drop

Microsoft
- a kinect game actually worth playing
- lost odyssey 2

General games
-Tomb raider release date
-devil may cry
- Last Guardian
-Bioshock infinite and 2k saying "just kidding, it comes out tommorow"
- Elder Scrolls MMO gameplay and features
-Skyrim expansion

I would like to know when/if the Ys PSVita game will be released. I think the Vita is cool....but its still lacking pretty bad for game selection. I tend to only pick up Action and RPG titles.

 I don't feel like shelling out $250 right now just to play another Dynasty game.
