Wind waked is my least fav modern Zelda by far. Too many stupid fetch quests, not enough dungeons.  I recall reading an article that said there were 3 or 4 more dungeons, but they axed them to make the game more accessible to younger gamers. Boo!

Playing RE1 on the 'Cube with my neighbors from across the street (twins, 21 years old). They've never played it before. It's freaking them out! LOL! It's 2 am here and I have all the lights in the house turned off. Good times :)

I hate you now wiggy

Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those folks that hates on it because of the art style or anything.  I really liked the graphics and the whole traveling by boat thing was really relaxing to me, plus it had some really great music, IIRC.

Hell, you're actually the perfect example of what I was talking about.  You were prolly like 7 or 8 years old when it came out, right?   You obviously enjoyed it, and at least part of that is because Nintendo purposefully dialed back the difficulty.

I'd love a WW: Master Quest or something with the dungeons and other bits that were cut from the final game restored. It's not like it was a bad game, there just wasn't ENOUGH Zelda in it for me.

I was about 15 when it came out snd I still loved it.  Things were a bit dialed down but it was a unique zelda experience thst I was happily surprised with. What made me like the game so much was all of the minor details they added to the game. Like link's eyes throughout the game. To each their own.  :)

Guys, I think you're reading me wrong.  I did not say that I don't like or hate it.  I said it was my least favorite.  I played it through in its entirety.  I collected all those goofy statues.  I did all the tedious fetch quests.  I sailed aimlessly for hours trying to find hidden treasures.  Just wish there had been more to it.  After Ocarina and Majora's Mask, it felt like Zelda Lite.  Sorta like how we were all anticipating GT5 for years, only to have it drop as a partially complete game.  I remember getting to the end and being like "Wait, this can't be the end of the game?!  I just got started.  Maybe this will lead me to the 'dark world' or something like that."  Not my least fav for what it did, but for what it didn't do.

It's not a grub in a bowl of cherries, more like a grape ;)
