Does anyone on here know why there is a loose copy of shinning force w/ a manual going for 13K??? For some reason it won't hyperlink that item but how different is that from the normal shinning force. I have the same game in the same condition.

I can only think that there are some sort of bidder shenanigans going on there.  Looking at past sales for complete copies of Shining Force, the max seems to be in the $35 -$40 range.  How or why this particular one, which is missing it's original case, has reach over $13,000 is beyond my understanding.  Looking at the bid history, there's a lot of bids from the same zero feedback bidder and one other with a low feedback rating.  It's been my exerience that crazy high bids from zero or low feedback rating bidders is usually a sign of someone playing a joke on the seller for whatever reason.  Perhaps there's something uniquely special about this particular copy of the game, but I don't see it...

There's a topic about this auction on Digitpress.  Someone has somehow figured out who that high bidder is and I guess he's got dozens of bid cancellations and retractions.   Who knows exactly why  ???

Perhaps the seller did something to piss someone off. I know there was a guy trying to sell Mega Man SNES games CIB with repro boxes and manuals and people kept bidding them up over 10k just so he couldn't sell them. It got him to stop, so as long as there's a legit reason for fucking with an eBay seller, I'm for it.

It started at 15$
