Why not make the name something like

Lumberjack42 (edited by Raven1280)

We thought about that but ultimately it was decided by all admins that double names would make the artists databse to big and cluttered.

Well I guess that goes back to the comments field thing I mentioned again. I suppose when/if it's ever implemented you could simply edit the conversions to say "converted by blahblah2323" in said field.

I was talking with tiktektak back and forth about some SNES covers I did for KaiserWAVE and that's when I threw those in. I told him they were conversions, but I guess I forgot to mention that in the forums. That was a long-ass time ago when I had first started all this biz (bout a month in to the whole deal) and didn't expect them to get posted as they would have had to start a whole new style of slimline DVD covers for the Sega CD, but apparently they did. It started for me as a way to get ALL of my games in one unified template that looked really good (Vt-102's slim template) and to get a good Dark Wizard cover (did that one ever get fixed?). I am glad that someone can use them (I had converted alot more for my personal collection, as no Sega CD manuals would fit in a standard DVD case anyway). Crap man, if I had known they would be posted then I would have thanked you at the proper time. But alas, late is better than never. THANK YOU for your work on the Sega CD covers and yes, all were modified. Damn, that was almost a year ago. When did those go up? I had done this with Saturn too, but I never uploaded them. A slim template instead of a standard template, but not MookyJooky's. I feel his is best for the J-Saturn games. Probably won't anytime soon.

EDIT: By the way, as far as I can remember, unless it was an SNES conversion for KaiserWAVE then I don't believe I have done any other conversions.

It is a smidge different though, as the Sega CD ones are from scans where the Spyro cover was "hand-crafted." But nonetheless, credit is due. nvm, douche statement.

EDIT 2: I went carreening through my PMs and found what I think was the conversation, but I guess our outboxes clear themselves out every now and then so I can't confirm. But it was definitely either Shenske or tiktektak. July of last year. I started in mid-June, so this was a beginner f%$^-up. As you can probably tell, this is really rattling me because here I am going off and then something that I did a long time ago bites me in the butt that I wasn't entirely aware of. And I try to be the nicest, most giving guy around, but I tend to f^&* things up alot. Not just at my own house apparently either. THANKS AGAIN Vt-102 for your awesome work on the under-appreciated Sega consoles. While I'm at it, I did some Parasite Eve covers (I did all the scans and all, don't worry, I wanted to make it "mine") for the vertical version, but I went ahead and threw out a horizontal version as well which looked a helluvalot like the one already on the site (which I believe was yours... poo). I did the work and I mentioned that bit in this thread, but still, if it passes QA it might be an issue. So if you don't hate me by now Vt-102, I'll just sit here and shut up about any of this. If you want to pull those Sega CD covers then by all means be my guest. Or (and I'm very serious about it here) change the names of those covers to Vt-102. Whoever can do that. I think it'll make everybody happy.

As I stated before... "I don't mind"

Can't really get upset since the art was not mine to begin with.. =)
If you have nothing to do... Don't do it here!

Quick question here for all people downloading PS1 covers: How many want my covers in the gray "PSone" theme? I can do it when I get the time.

Well, I'm thinking that if I wanted to print some of the pre-existing covers in the gray PSone style, I could just get the template and paste the existing cover underneath the PSone template.

As such, I think it's a lot more important to just make sure there are vertical and horizontal styles. Anyone who wants to change it up could do so easily. Even if you didn't have access to Photoshop, you could just download the cover you want, download a cover in the style you want, then cut and paste.

Same story as the previous covers (Vertical & Horizantal, Gray & Black).
I couldn't find any NTSC scans at all for this game but i did run across some nice PAL scans so i decided to use what i could from those. I had to do a fair deal of cleaning to the images but it came out well. These covers will replace my terrible quality one currently on the site (it snuck in somehow before i was even a member and our quality standards were so high). CB3 is in my top 5 favorite PS1 games!  ;D

@JerActor

You just stretched out the back part of the cover to fit didn't you? Please don't do that, just stretch things at aspect ratio (aka holding down shift) so it doesn't get warped. I don't want to get you too discouraged but we really frown upon stretching images so they "fit" the new area. 95% of the time when converting a PS1 cover from a jewel case to a dvd it requires a complete rebuild because the original images don't come close to fitting.

Here is a link to the PS1 template to get you started

Welcome to the project though  :)

Metal Gear Solid (PAL/UK)

Another request. The original UK front is not suitable for conversion to DVD so that had to be altered. Back is a cross of US/UK versions to help fill gaps that the original jewel case left.

That reminds me, I still need to pick that game up. You wouldn't happen to be able to make a cover for the first one, would you? ;)
