Damn, you are being way too touchy. I don't see how "In my experience your errors need to be pretty glaring for them to not add it to the site, so don't worry." equates to "the QC mods here don't do their jobs," but if you want to pretend I'm personally attacking you then go ahead.

it was actually a filter to make it look like it was printed on canvas, i hit the filter by accident when working and kinda fell in love with it, but never added it to the first one cause it was already flattened/merged together.

so that weird look is intentional, and i kinda figured thats why it didnt go up.

so ball is in your court on this one, if you think so i can remove it, and refrain from using it on the rest of my wild arms covers.

(i looks alot more canvasy printed than on the computer screen)

ok, so i'll remove the filter tonight and resubmit it, and hiopefully i submit WA3 and 4 tonight or tomorrow

Is it really not common practice here to inform people if their submissions were rejected? It doesn't seem very helpful if you're just rejecting submissions (especially submissions by active members) and not informing them why via PM or whatever. Kinda makes it hard to fix up and send back to the site.

Another thing tiktetak, my comment mainly stems from the fact that I've downloaded covers from here that have had several minor errors, along with the fact that my own covers were accepted despite some worries of my own that some aspects may not be considered up-to-par.

It was intended as words of encouragement for Dejimus, not as some sort of veiled attack against you. I certainly don't appreciate a mod of all people attacking me for that.

I often see the true meaning behind peoples oh so friendly meant comments (or I believe to at least).
Sometimes it's the "scizophrenia" but only sometimes.

I'm sorry if you truly meant no harm but otherwise I stand for what I say!

I admit though that there are quite a few covers on our site which are not as good as the more recent stuff. This fact is due that the admin system and quality control wasn't all that strict and comprehensive in the past. You know in the beginning ONE person had to do all the adding stuff etc. and keep the site running as well.

About providing info for what has gone wrong with a cover. It is not that easy to inform I don't know how many people about what was wrong. If someone cars he is free to ask no problem but we can't tell everyone everytime. By the way in 90% of the cases stuff is rejected beacue it was either

from low res bad sources(blurry, pixelated, moire effect, stretched, etc.)
wrong dimensions
wrong legal text and barcode
Non existent(homebrew,etc.)
2 + 3 = 23

Ah, dang, I really like that Suikoden cover, (I was working on the same thing but with a white background like in Suikoden II), but I got 404'ed. Mind re-upping it?

EDIT: Oh wait, I see why that one was taken down: the ratings don't match. It should say K-A on both the front and back. Can't read the legal text to verify tho.

Hmmmm.... His black Suikoden cover wasn't rejected....

Look: http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=10605

That is kind of funny though. I look so hard for tiny stuff like scatches, not black enough blacks and dust and stuff BUT I didn't see that the ratings don't match... Oh well. Maybe I'm getting old....

EDIT:

I fixed this myself. Rating and product number on the front are the right ones now.

This is called a "persecution complex". I've seen you do this before, you may think you're "reading between the lines" and being clever but ultimately you're just attacking people unprovoked and making yourself look like a jerk. People aren't out to get you, it's best if you get over that.

I accept the apology but man you need to work on that.

Hmmm... That new Spyro cover looks awfully familiar... Namely the backside...

Well, from what I gather, all he did was convert the NTSC cover on the site to PAL, so yeah, the front and back should look very familiar.

Do you think you could give me the ARMS logo you used on the back (the lionhead thing)?
